The transition from the Chamber Cares Initiative to the Nonprofit Community Council signifies a pivotal shift towards broader collaboration and growth in Foster City. Initially focused on supporting businesses and nonprofits during the pandemic, the Council now embraces a more inclusive approach, uniting stakeholders from all sectors.

While our core mission remains consistent, the Council expands its scope to engage a wider range of voices. It will serve as a platform for dialogue and action, shaping initiatives that drive the region's prosperity. 

This council will serve as a hub for engagement, bringing together representatives from the nonprofit sector, business community, and broader community stakeholders. By uniting these diverse voices, we aim to shape the direction of initiatives undertaken by the Chamber Foundation, focusing on initiatives that contribute to the overall prosperity and well-being of our region.
